I haven’t exactly been keeping up with the blog, but hopefully a few bird photos make up for it.
When I’m deep in a project or halfway across the world on assignment, taking photos reminds me to look up, to notice small things — how light slides across water, or the stillness before movement. It’s a quiet kind of focus that has nothing to do with deadlines and everything to do with paying attention.
